Element Fleet Management Corp. (TSX:EFN) ("Element" o la "Compañía"),  la administradora de flotas más grande del mundo de automóviles publicó su informe de sostenibilidad 2024: “Sustainable Momentum: Building on Progress.” El reporte anual destaca el progreso ambiental que Element ha logrado a través de iniciativas de sostenibilidad corporativa que fortalecen a la compañía. El reporte abarca su impacto ambiental mediante la movilidad inteligente para contribuir a un mundo más sostenible e inclusivo.

De la mano con su compromiso de sostenibilidad, Element destaca su dedicación con la transparencia en su informe anual. Sus resultados demuestran avances significativos, incluyendo el compromiso de establecer objetivos a corto plazo basados en la ciencia.  

Element envió sus objetivos previstos a Science Based Targets Initiative (SBTi) para su validación. Estos objetivos incluyen su compromiso para reducir las emisiones  de gases de efecto invernadero (GEI) de Alcance 1 y 2 a un 63.7% a partir del 2034. En cuanto las emisiones de Alcance 3- Categoría 11 (Use of Sold Products and Category 13 Downstream Leased Assets), buscan reducir a un 66.4% para el 2034. Estos objetivos están sujetos a cambios debido a la validación de la SBTi.

• 44% de reducción en GEI de las emisiones de Alcance 1. 

• 62% de incremento en adquisición de EV’s (US / CAN) 

• Logramos la electrificación del 100% de nuestra flota interna en Australia y Nueva Zelanda, lo que demuestra un progreso considerable hacia la electromovilidad; cuyo progreso está alineado con nuestro objetivo global de electrificar nuestra flota interna en 2025. 

• Duplicamos nuestro número de pilotos activos de vehículos eléctricos a comparación del 2022. 

• Element Logra una Calificación B en el Análisis del Cambio Climático de CDP 

• 2,700 horas en voluntariado a nivel global. 

• Plantamos 1,354 árboles a través del apoyo de 95 miembros de nuestro equipo y sus familias en un lapso de 293 horas. 

• El 60% de la Junta Directiva de Element son mujeres, el 24% pertenecen a etnias diferentes y el 10% son personas con discapacidad. 

• Clasificamos dentro del 8% de empresas Canadienses en The Globe and Mail's annual Board Games. 

• Recibimos una medalla de plata de EcoVadis al estar dentro del 25% de empresas mejor evaluadas.
